Overview
We welcome men age 18 or older to join with us in ministering to the inmates at the county jail. You must be a member of Faith Bible Church and pass a background check in order to participate. Our objective is to send groups of men each Sunday morning to assist in conducting Bible studies and worship services with those incarcerated. God blessed us with this wonderful ministry opportunity beginning in December 2017.

Description
Each Sunday morning from 7:45am to 9am, we send men to the jail to participate in “Church Call” with the inmates. Prior to going in, we meet collectively with Chaplain Luke Suttles to pray and receive cellblock assignments. For the participating inmates, we conduct a “church service” consisting of a format of the leader’s choosing (hymns, prayer, Scripture reading, sermon delivery, etc.). Of primary importance is articulating the biblical gospel to these men—many of whom have limited knowledge of the one, true God of the Bible! Participants will arrive back at FBC well before the beginning of the Sunday morning service time.
