The goal of the AWANA Club Ministry at Faith Bible Church is to present the Gospel to boys and girls and their families and to train them to serve Him. AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”) In order to minister more effectively to pre-school (must be 3 before 9/1/year) through sixth grade boys and girls, our AWANA program is divided into three clubs:
Our AWANA Club Nights begin at 6:30 pm and ends 8:00 pm on Wednesday
night.
The schedule for the night is broken down into five sections:
We challenge our Directors/Leaders (and Commanders) during the section called “Take it to Heart” in which they are given time to learn memory verses. We then recite the verses to the clubbers to show accountability.
The AWANA Ministry is an opportunity for you to minister to the boys and girls of Faith Bible Church. By becoming a beginning listener on up to full time Leader, it will be an encouraging and humbling experience.
